First and foremost, I am a published storyteller and editor who specializes in relationship building, brand identification, and personality. I'm a creative problem-solver, and I love to make order from chaos.
From my tenure as Editor-in-Chief at entertainment publication Real Detroit Weekly to my time as an Account Executive at Marx Layne Public Relations Agency, I’ve held media and creative jobs of all shapes and sizes. I have also handled full public relations and marketing campaigns from start to finish for clients of all sizes (from the Detroit Pistons to a small, local meat distributor) in addition to having spent time with a well-known public relations agency, managed dozens of large-scale festivals and events, worked with countless restaurants and dining establishments, written long- and short-form analytical pieces discussing topics ranging from the financial world amongst the elderly to farm-to-table dining, crafted many one-sheets for products, services and events, proofed entire publications, written personal and entertainment bios, scripted political campaign videos for the City of Detroit, with lots and lots in-between.
I create, source, direct and manage creative services, implement advertising, digital and traditional marketing, social media and public relations campaigns, and offer consulting services targeted and specialized for the image, messaging and branding of small businesses.
Also, I love dogs, cooking, reading, music, movies, gardening, comedy, abstract art, and I am an ordained minister and the current Chair of the Main Street Hazel Park Board.
